Phishading After Care

The success and longevity of PhiShading depend not only on the care but also on the skin quality (skin type, skin health, skin texture). Proper care of your PhiShading is crucial for the result and durability. Therefore, please pay close attention to the following:

First Day (Treatment Day)

Half an hour after the procedure, the pigmented areas should be cleaned with a moist pad, and this should be repeated every two hours up to five times a day. If the treatment is done in the afternoon, cleaning three times is sufficient. Before going to bed, apply a thin layer of ointment to the eyebrows to prevent them from drying out.

Second Day

Do the same as the previous day, but clean only three times (morning, noon, evening).

Third to Fifth Day

Cleaning is no longer necessary now; instead, keep the eyebrows dry. Avoid sports, sweating, and getting the eyebrows wet.

Sixth to Tenth Day

Apply ointment to the eyebrows as needed and wait for the crusts to fall off on their own. Do not remove the crusts yourself as it can affect the final result.

From the Tenth Day Onward

From now on, there is no need to do anything; trust the healing process.

Healing Process

In the first 1-2 days, the eyebrows will initially appear darker. Over the next 2 weeks, the color will fade by approximately 20-100% (depending on skin type, care, metabolism, and other, sometimes uncontrollable factors) as a new skin layer forms over the color. The thickness of the eyebrows will also reduce by about 10%. After a few days, a light scab may form, and skin flakes will gradually fall off. These will fall off on their own; please do not scratch or rub them off!

Avoid in the First 7 Days

During the first 7 days, avoid any creams, makeup in the eyebrow area, exfoliation, facial massages, exercise, excessive sweating, sauna, and steam baths.

Avoid in the First 30 Days

Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, light therapies, chemical peels, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, creams containing regeneration factors, laser treatments, etc., in the treated area, as these can destroy pigments and cause burns. The use of antibiotics, cortisone, and hormonal therapies may lead to faster pigment loss. Always protect the eyebrows with SPF 50 (starting after 10 days).

Detailed Healing Process

1. Immediately After the Treatment (Day 1–2):

Appearance: Directly after the treatment, the eyebrows will appear very dark and more defined than the final result. The color is more intense as it is freshly applied.

Feeling: The skin may be red and feel slightly tight or sensitive. There might also be a slight burning sensation.

Care: It is crucial to keep the eyebrows clean and apply the aftercare cream recommended by the cosmetician to support healing.

2. Day 3–7 (Crusting and Peeling):

Appearance: During this phase, the skin begins to form small crusts. It is normal for the color to appear darker and the eyebrows to look a bit “rough.”

Feeling: There may be a slight tightness as the crust forms. It is also normal to experience itching, indicating that the skin is healing.

Care: It is important not to scratch or remove the crusts to avoid pigment loss. Continue applying the recommended aftercare cream.

3. Day 7–14 (Healing):

Appearance: The crusts begin to fall off, which may cause the eyebrows to appear lighter in some areas. This can give the impression that pigments have been lost, which is normal.

Feeling: The skin feels less tight, and the itching subsides. The eyebrows may feel somewhat uneven during this phase.

Care: Do not accelerate the peeling of the crust. Continue to avoid direct sunlight and excessive moisture (e.g., swimming, steam baths).

4. Day 15–30 (Skin Regeneration):

Appearance: After about two weeks, the color will appear much lighter than the final result. The pigments settle deeper into the skin and begin to take on their final color.

Feeling: The skin is largely healed and feels normal.

Care: It is still advisable to apply sunscreen to the eyebrows to prevent fading.

5. After 4–6 Weeks (Final Result):

Appearance: The final result is visible. The color is softer and more natural than in the initial days. If needed, a touch-up can be done to fill in gaps or intensify the color.

Care: Normal skincare can be applied to the eyebrows. Continue to avoid direct sunlight to slow down color fading.

Summary of Healing Time:

Total Duration: Complete healing generally takes 4 to 6 weeks. During this time, the color and final appearance develop.

The care instructions during this period are crucial for achieving the best possible result.
